The beautiful Dal Lake with its mesmerizing shikaras serves as the front view of our unique resort. The lake is fed by River Jhelum which flows through the center of the capital city of Srinagar
The drive to our resort is along the lake shore of the awestriking Dal Lake and the entire length is lined by the tall poplar trees on one side and the majestic Zabarwan range on the other. The resort has access from the commercial area of Nigeen Lake via Kashmir University and Engineering College as well.
Coming from the airport you would also pass through the main city center called Lal Chowk which features its clock tower as well as the Tourist Reception Center.
On its frontside, visitors can easily walk to the lake anytime of the day covering the few metres that separate the resort from the lake, in a few minutes.
In late April and early May during the tulip season, hotel visitors can take a trip to the Tulip garden that is just a few minutes’ drive away along the lake shore. Snowcapped peaks of is still Zabarwan mountains can be viewed directly from the hotel rooms until temperature warms up in summer and it starts melting. Weather at the resort is very pleasant from spring to autumn season and is easily enjoyable in winter with proper winter outerwear.
The resort is a perfect destination for nature as well as city lovers with its central location yet enveloped in nature with orchards, lakes, mountains and a lot of greenery.
It is less than 2 hours away from the breathtaking meadows of Gulmarg hill station – most popular for its cable car (Gulmarg Gondola) that is Asia’s longest and highest. It is also second highest and longest in the entire world.
